Decorative Concrete Driveways

When it’s time to install a new driveway, you won’t find a better option than decorative concrete. There are many reasons these have gotten so popular, namely their price point and the fact that they can be made to resemble virtually any material, style, color, and texture. If you love the look of slate, brick, or stone driveways but don’t love the price or maintenance that comes with them, decorative concrete is the way to go! For concrete driveway designs, view our past work on this website, or reach out to us for more design ideas.
Maintenance is pretty simple; you should keep the driveway clear of debris, hose off the dirt (the occasional pressure wash can do wonders), and then reseal it every few years. Your decorative concrete driveway should last a lifetime, and the savings it offers compared to other materials are major.
How to Clean Concrete Driveways
As durable as they are, some things can stain a concrete driveway. Here are some tips that we hope will help if you’re ever in need.
- Rust - Rust stains can be removed with oxalic acid.
- Mildew - Pressure washing is the easiest way to get rid of mildew on concrete.
- Skid marks - Tire marks are usually eliminated in a pressure wash, but brake cleaner will also work.
- Grease/oil - If the spill just happened, use kitty litter to soak up the excess fluid - it soaks the oil right out of the concrete! If it’s an older stain, you might need to use a degreaser.
